OCEAN IMPORT COORDINATOR

Responsibilities

Process Import shipments working with customs and client
Populate and update Import systems and track shipments
Seamless coordination among OPS, Management & Sales Departments
Establish rapport with carriers, i.e. steamship lines; and trucking companies in order to obtain competitive rates and have our presence known
Increase business relationship with client
Keep updated on ever changing rules and regulations relative to transportation, U.S. Customs / FDA / Homeland Security and other governmental agencies as related with our industry
Prepare accurate Accounting for each shipment
Periodic collection of customer payment for each shipment
Attend meetings / seminars / social functions that may deem beneficial for the company

Requirements
2+ years of proven experience in Ocean Import operation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Business level proficiency of Japanese is a plus

Prepare accurate Accounting for each shipment
Periodic collection of customer payment for each shipment
Attend meetings / seminars / social functions that may deem beneficial for the company

Requirements
2+ years of proven experience in Air Import operation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Business level proficiency of Japanese is a plus

Process Export shipments working with customs and client
Handling FCL and LCL shipment
Populate and update export systems.
Seamless coordination among OPS, Management & Sales Departments
AES Filing
Booking with steamship line & co-loader
Increase business relationship with client
Keep updated on ever changing rules and regulations relative to transportation, i.e, U.S. Customs / Homeland Security and other governmental agencies as related with our industry
Prepare accurate Accounting for each shipment
Periodic collection of customer payment for each shipment
Attend meetings / seminars / social functions that may deem beneficial for the company

Requirements
2+ years of proven experience in Ocean Export operation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Business level proficiency of Japanese is a plu

Recruitment Process

At MOL Logistics (USA), we strive to maintain a professional recruitment process where potential candidates experience an organized and qualified process, where the company finds the best possible employees. This process generally comprises of both a first and second interview, and in some cases is supplemented by various tests. After the second interview, we will contact references, make our selection and hire the best candidate for the position. The duration of the process can vary, but generally it takes approx. 1 month from the application deadline
